This just in, c:c wins merit award in the HOW International Design Annual for their design of the St.Croix Souvenir Co. business card. The souvenir shop is a business owned and branded by c:c as made evident by the printed “Tricia Christiansen, Esteemed Owner of the Shoppe.”

Graphic Design Awards

This past year CC submitted many projects from both small and large clients alike to the 2009 Graphic Design Awards. A number of local projects were highlighted as winners such as the Seasons on St.Croix Gallery identity, Carpenter Nature Center Fundraising Invitation, and Hudson Hospital & Clinics Heart2Heart Ad Campaign. These were in addition to our personal work of CC business card design and the St.Croix Souvenir Company logo.

Caramel Corn

Not many realize that the little souvenir company that has blossomed into a great local shop is owned by Christiansen Creative. The creative firm started the store up based on local need for local travelers and St.Croix River enthusiasts August of 2008 just prior to the first annual Spirit of the St.Croix Days. It has been mentioned that the store would fare better if the designers stopped eating all of the store’s caramel corn – which will never happen because a. sugar fuels ideas and b. its really good caramel corn.

SUPER TREE HUGGER DESIGNS MAKE IT INTO NEW PUBLICATION FOR 2010

Tree hugger designs

A total of seven CC designs for The Purple Tree retail store have made their way into Quayside Publishing’s book 1000 Garment Graphics: A comprehensive guide of Wearable Designs. The designs range from children’s shirts to adult tees all with messages about raising awareness with global causes. You can find the publication in national book stores 2010.
